Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team. Experience of 5 years or more is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in field service, specifically in HVAC, cooking, and refrigeration systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration, HVAC, and cooking equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The technician will work with various systems and must be comfortable interpreting schematics and performing equipment repairs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, cooking, and refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Repair or replace defective components in refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
- Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts and configurations.
- Collaborate with team members to design efficient refrigeration solutions tailored to client needs.
- Conduct inspections of refrigeration systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge related to refrigeration systems, cooking equipment, and HVAC.
- Experience in field service roles, specifically related to appliance repair or equipment repair.
- Familiarity with a variety of refrigeration systems, cooking equipment, and HVAC units is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet customer needs and high demand times.
- Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
