Position Summary
The Delivery & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring materials, equipment, and supplies are delivered to our job sites on time and in the correct quantities. This role combines hands-on local deliveries with coordinating and tracking all material deliveries across multiple active construction projects. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and communicates effectively with project managers, foremen, suppliers, and vendors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Make local deliveries to active job sites as needed.
- Coordinate all scheduled deliveries for multiple construction projects.
- Communicate daily with project managers and foremen regarding material needs.
- Schedule deliveries with suppliers and vendors.
- Track long-lead materials and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve delivery issues before they impact project schedules.
- Maintain delivery schedules and provide status updates to project teams.
- Verify deliveries are complete and accurate.
- Assist with material pickups, returns, and transfers between job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and delivery records.
Qualifications
- Construction industry experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable using phones, email, and scheduling software.
- Ability to lift and move building materials as needed.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
