Cascade Tropicals has been growing premium tropical houseplants in a climate-controlled greenhouse in Snohomish, Washington for over 30 years. We're a tight-knit, hardworking team with deep roots in Mexican agricultural culture — where respect, ownership, and the drive to keep improving are at the core of everything we do.
We are looking for an experienced, bilingual Head Grower to lead our team of 9 and help us continue producing high-quality plants for customers across the country.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and manage a team of 9
- Oversee irrigation, fertilization, and weekly PGR applications
- Manage propagation and transplanting per the production schedule
- Maintain quality control at every stage of production
- Plan weekly schedules and assign greenhouse space efficiently
- Work hands-on alongside your team every day
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Fluent Spanish is a firm requirement — our team communicates primarily in Spanish. Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
- 5+ years of greenhouse growing experience
- 3+ years managing a team of 3 or more
- Fluent Spanish required
- Knowledge of plant pests and diseases
- Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain one)
- Self-managed, organized, and detail-oriented
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary: $81,000–$90,000 per year (based on experience)
- Performance bonus: up to $10,000 annually
- Total potential compensation: up to $100,000
