Prolink is looking for Registered Nurses to work in the Med/Surg units at a leading hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. We have both day and night shift opportunities available for experienced travel nurses seeking a rewarding assignment in a high-acuity acute care environment.
Assignment Details
- Location: Birmingham, AL
- Specialty: Med/Surg
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 36 Hours/Week (3x12s)
- Shift Options:
- Days: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Nights: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekly Gross Pay: $2,100/week
Unit Information
Day Shift – Surgical Oncology/Hepatology Unit
- 32-bed Med/Surg unit
- Surgical oncology, hepatology, and GI surgery overflow patients
- Acute care setting (no stepdown patients)
- Philips bedside monitoring
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5–6
Night Shift – General Med/Surg Unit
- 20-bed Med/Surg unit
- Philips bedside monitoring
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5–7
- Telemetry rhythm interpretation required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
- Travel nursing experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- BLS certification required
- Alabama RN License or Compact License required
- Ability to float as needed to support hospital operations
Compensation Package
- Weekly Gross: $2,100
- Taxable Base Rate: $20/hr
- Overtime Rate: $30/hr
- Lodging Per Diem: $882/week
- Meals & Incidentals Per Diem: $498/week
