We are currently seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Director of Sales to join our leadership team at The Blake at Lafayette. Primary Responsibilities of the Director of Sales
- Discover the needs of prospective residents and their families, thoughtfully matching those needs with the community’s services and unique value offerings
- Meet weekly and monthly with leadership to review sales objectives, analyze variances, and develop action plans to achieve and exceed budgeted goals
- Proactively identify, build, and maintain relationships with local healthcare partners to generate qualified referrals
- Plan, coordinate, and execute monthly lead-generating events and outreach initiatives
- Conduct competitive market visits and analysis to effectively communicate the community’s differentiators
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, civic groups, and professional networks
- Create and implement effective marketing and public relations strategies that support occupancy goals
- Coordinate qualified admissions and discharges in collaboration with all departments to ensure a seamless resident experience
- Maintain accurate sales documentation, reports, and forecasts using company systems
- Represent the community professionally at all times, upholding QSL Management’s values and brand standards
Requirements
Education & Experience
- A caring heart and genuine desire to serve others
- Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of three (3) years of sales experience
- At least two (2) years of successful sales and marketing experience in healthcare or senior living, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding goals (preferred)
- Demonstrated sales closing skills and strong negotiation abilities
- Experience in public relations, event planning, and budget management
- Proficiency with cloud-based operating systems, CRM platforms, document management systems, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as business needs require
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
