Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency water damage situations, including floods, leaks, and storm-related incidents.
- Perform thorough assessments of affected areas to determine scope of damage and necessary restoration procedures.
- Execute water extraction, drying, dehumidification, mold remediation, and cleaning using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, Xactimate (estimating software), and other industry-standard equipment to complete restoration projects efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and following all safety guidelines during operations.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-call coverage and job site transportation while maintaining vehicle safety standards.
- Collaborate with clients professionally to explain procedures, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the restoration process.
Skills
- Demonstrated emergency response readiness with the ability to act quickly under pressure.
- Experience in flood restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire restoration, and asbestos abatement is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocol adherence including PPE use and respiratory protection measures.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building materials enhances your ability to assess structural damage accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during stressful situations.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, Xactimate software, and other restoration industry tools.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and general site cleanup efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
