Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Mental Health Worker for our Westchester County Locations. The Mental Health Worker is responsible for providing safety to the individuals and staff in the house during their shift by supporting assigned individuals. Additional responsibilities include encouraging individual independence as appropriate throughout daily routines, providing hands on support as assigned, and offering opportunities for individuals to participate in making choices as appropriate.
Qualifications / Requirements
Must be able to apply knowledge and skills gained through required training in Medication Administration, Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP-R), First Aid, CPR and other in-service training in order to engage with individuals and intervene during times of crisis.
