Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and well-being
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and documentation procedures
- Provide compassionate dementia, Alzheimer’s, and memory care tailored to individual needs while managing behaviors effectively
- Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, maintaining dietary guidelines and resident preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards
Skills
- Prior assisted living or nursing home experience demonstrating familiarity with senior care environments
- Strong knowledge of ADLs assistance, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia, including Alzheimer’s and memory care techniques
- Proficiency in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation and resident tracking
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and Hoyer lift operation safely
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications; ongoing commitment to safety standards in healthcare settings

Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
