Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sprinter van on scheduled routes, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and passenger information
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members using clear and courteous language
- Manage behavior and ensure safety for all passengers, including children or seniors when applicable
- Follow route plans precisely while adapting to traffic conditions or unforeseen circumstances with proactive problem-solving
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle checks and troubleshoot minor issues
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed
