As the Events Manager, you’ll be a regularly scheduled member of the Events team—running parties, hosting celebrations, and working alongside your staff each weekend—while also leading, coaching, and developing the team to ensure every family receives an exceptional experience.
Leadership & Team Development
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new Events staff.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to Energy standards.
- Conduct observations and provide regular feedback.
- Support the development of staff by maintaining clear expectations and holding team members accountable for professionalism, customer service, punctuality, and performance.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and high-performing team culture.
- Step in to support events whenever needed.
Event Operations
- Serve as the lead Event Staff member during scheduled events, running parties and supporting the team as needed.
- Ensure birthday parties, Open Gyms, and special events are executed with excellence.
- Maintain consistency across every event, regardless of which staff members are working.
- Resolve parent concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Ensure events start and finish on time.
- Monitor safety standards and facility readiness.
- Maintain event supplies and inventory.
- Coordinate staff coverage and manage time-off requests.
- Create bi-monthly staff schedules and ensure appropriate event coverage.
- Maintain and continuously improve existing events while developing new experiences that enhance the value we provide to families.

Compensation:
- Salary: Starting at $20,800 based on approximately 20 hours per week, depending on experience and qualifications
- Opportunities for increased compensation are based on experience, performance, leadership, and continued growth within the role.
- Earn Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Event staff may also receive gratuities from families, though tips are never expected or guaranteed.
Expected Schedule:
- Primarily Saturdays and Sundays.
- Additional weekday administrative hours for scheduling, interviews, trainings, and meetings.
