Key Responsibilities
- Evaluations: Conduct thorough speech, language, and feeding evaluations to accurately identify patient needs.
- Targeted Care Plans: Design, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans (including IEPs) rooted in clinical, evidence-based practices.
- Direct Therapy: Deliver high-quality, engaging therapeutic interventions to children with diverse speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborative Care: Partner closely with parents, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure holistic support and optimal outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain precise, timely documentation of all evaluations, daily therapy sessions, and progress milestones.
- Family Coaching: Empower and educate families by providing practical strategies to foster communication development in the home environment.
- Professional Growth: Active participation in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
- Credentials: ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred; Certificate of Clinical Competence required.
- Licensure: Valid Arizona State SLP license (or immediate eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Experience: Prior experience in pediatric therapy (clinical or educational setting) is strongly preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with a natural ability to connect with children and their families.
