- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing high-quality food service to guests
- Utilize knife skills for precise food preparation, ensuring consistency in presentation
Skills
- Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably in fine dining or restaurant settings
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus
- Ability to plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
