Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman Electrician or Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic electrical team. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial businesses and residential homes, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute projects.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely on construction sites or during renovation projects, following all electrical safety procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems, including low voltage controls and industrial electrical components.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for wiring installation, conduit bending, and system upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician in commercial and residential environments; journeyman certification preferred for experienced candidates.
- Strong knowledge of local electrical codes (such as NEC) and NFPA 70 compliance standards.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with electrical wiring—both high voltage and low voltage systems—and familiarity with industrial electrical systems.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety procedures related to electrical work; renovation experience is a plus.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently within complex electrical systems.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; ability to work at various job sites as needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
