Overview
Grange Garden is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented kitchen team member with a strong eye for presentation, styling, and beautiful food design.
This is not a traditional line cook role — it’s about creating visually stunning, thoughtfully composed dishes in a calm, garden café setting. From charcuterie boards to seasonal plates, every item should feel elevated, intentional, and aligned with our signature aesthetic.
Our food program is light, fresh, and garden-inspired, focused on simple ingredients presented beautifully.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble charcuterie boards, sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, and small plates
- Design visually stunning charcuterie and dishes with a strong emphasis on composition, color, and texture
- Maintain consistent, high-end presentation standards across all food items
- Assist in developing seasonal offerings rooted in farm-to-table traditions
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly
- Support inventory management and daily prep needs
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of cooking or food prep experience
- A natural eye for design and plating — this is essential
- Experience with charcuterie boards or styled food presentation is highly preferred
- Appreciation for aesthetics, detail, and creating “Instagram-worthy” dishes
- Ability to work efficiently in a calm, fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership, cleanliness, and organization
- Weekends and Holidays required
Why This Role Is Unique
At Grange Garden, food is part of the experience. Guests come not just to eat but to feel inspired by the beauty in front of them. This role is perfect for someone who loves the creative side of food — where presentation matters just as much as taste.
