Part-Time Math & English Teacher
Location: Flushing, NY (Tangram Mall)
Pay: $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
Job Description
We are looking for passionate and experienced Math & English Teachers to join our growing education team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable teaching middle and high school students and creating an engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
Teach Math and/or English in one-on-one or small group settings.
Teach subjects including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and middle/high school English.
Develop lesson plans based on students' academic needs.
Track student progress and communicate with parents when needed.
Inspire students to build confidence and achieve academic success.
Qualifications
Previous teaching or tutoring experience with middle or high school students.
Strong knowledge of Math and/or English curriculum.
Experience working with children and teenagers.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Patient, responsible, and passionate about education.
Bachelor's degree or above.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching AMC 8/10/12, MathCounts, or other math competition courses.
Experience teaching Honors, AP, Regents, SAT, ACT, SSAT, or ISEE preparation.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
