Responsibilities
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision using order picking techniques and packaging best practices to meet quality standards.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation, inspecting goods for damage, and preparing items for dispatch.
- Stock shelves efficiently by replenishing inventory using proper handling techniques while maintaining organized storage areas.
- Support inventory management through cycle counts, stock adjustments in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or order pickers is highly desirable; forklift certification is a plus.
- Basic math skills are essential for counting inventory accurately and processing shipments efficiently.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and warehouse distribution practices will help you succeed in this role.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
