American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Telemetry position in Massachusetts, requiring an active MA RN license and the ability to read cardiac telemetry strips.

Work on a 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit

Adult medical patient population

RN-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5

36 hours per week with rotating day, evening, and night shifts as needed to cover open shifts; day rotate positions rotate a couple of shifts per month

Every other weekend required

Charting via Epic EMR

Active MA RN license required; MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted and no pending licenses are allowed

Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only; no other providers accepted for this facility)

Current AHA ACLS certification required (AHA only; no other providers accepted for this facility)

Minimum 3 years of RN experience required

Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips required

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions allowed

2 professional references required for consideration

Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and will be placed at a reduced pay rate
