Job Summary: Full Time --Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to 2 locations, MOUNT LAUREL, NJ AND LANGHORNE, PA.
Highly responsible front desk position encompassing generally all aspects of patient contact with regard to pertinent billing information, treatment authorization, demographic information and various other responsibilities including telephone contact, general filing and scheduling of appointments. While we provide a three-month training program, candidates must have at least six (6) months of experience with a medical practice or clinic front desk functions. Additional experience is a definite plus. Must have a high school diploma. MA or CNA certification not required but a plus. Must have working knowledge of insurance eligibility/referrals. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to 2 locations, MOUNT LAUREL, NJ AND LANGHORNE, PA.

Responsibilities:
- Execute multi-step procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Answering telephones (high volume) in a tactful, courteous and respectful manner
- Scheduling/Rescheduling/Confirming patient appointments/Checking patients in and out
- Collecting co-pays and monies owed on accounts and reconciling patient accounts
- Having one on one patient contact
- Filing and light typing; operating copy machine, fax machine and postage meter
- Stocking/Ordering supplies; keeping front desk clean, orderly and clutter-free
- Maintaining patient files and paper charts
- Handling pharmacy call backs
- Calling hospital/laboratories for test results
- Accurately and timely handling and recording insurance/referral information, ensuring that patient disclosure notices and policies are completed as well as documentation post visit
- Sending packages to FedEx, UPS and certified mailings
- Sorting and distributing mail; mailing of New Patient Packets; Keeping the waiting room handouts fully stocked and up-to-date
- Working collaboratively, supportively and courteously with all staff.
All new hires participate in a three-month training program
Requirements:
- At least six months’ experience in medical front desk registration area
- High School Diploma required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Works well in a team environment
- Pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test required
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- Must be able to travel to all assigned job locations if necessary
