Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of an established outpatient MRI center in Hollis, Queens seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a full-time direct-hire position. The selected candidate will become an employee of the MRI center and will work on-site operating a Hitachi Airis II MRI system while providing exceptional patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
The selected candidate will operate a Hitachi Airis II MRI system while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional imaging quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
- Operate and maintain the Hitachi Airis II MRI system
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout examinations
- Review and verify patient information and imaging requests
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all facility, state, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
QualificationsRequired
- ARRT Certification
- MRI Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Must be available to work holidays as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $50–$55 per hour, based on experience

- 6 personal days annually after completion of 1 year of employment
