Advanced Pain Management of Virginia - Charlottesville, VA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Thursday
Position Overview
Advanced Pain Management of Virginia is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled healthcare professional to join our IV Therapy Department. We are open to experienced RNs, Medical Assistants (MAs), or Paramedics who are confident in patient care, IV administration, and clinical support.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient setting while providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform IV insertions and assist with IV therapy treatments
- Monitor patients during and after IV administration
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient information
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
- Assist providers and clinical staff with patient care needs
- Educate patients regarding treatments and post-care instructions
- Ensure a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
QualificationsRN Candidates
- Active Virginia RN license
- Experience with IV therapy and venipuncture preferred
Medical Assistant Candidates
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred
- Strong IV and phlebotomy experience required
Paramedic Candidates
- Active Virginia Paramedic certification/license
- Strong emergency care and IV placement skills preferred
Preferred Skills
- Excellent IV insertion skills
- Strong communication and patient interaction abilities
- Ability to multitask in a clinical environment
- EMR/EHR documentation experience preferred
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Medical Assistant: $20 – $27 per hour
Paramedic: $24 – $32 per hour
Registered Nurse (RN): $32 – $40 per hour
