About the Role
HomeInspections.com is expanding and seeking licensed home inspectors to perform residential inspections in selected Florida service areas. This is an opportunity to work independently while receiving booking, scheduling, and payment support through a modern inspection platform.
Inspectors use our system to receive appointments, complete inspections, and deliver reports, while maintaining control of their schedule and coverage area.
What You’ll Do
- Perform residential home inspections in accordance with Florida standards
- Communicate clearly with buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals
- Capture photos, notes, and findings using mobile inspection tools
- Deliver professional inspection reports in a timely manner
- Represent HomeInspections.com professionally during client interactions
This is a client-facing, communication-heavy role. Inspectors must be comfortable explaining findings clearly and professionally on-site.
How Work Is Scheduled
- You choose the ZIP codes where you want to work
- You set your availability
- Appointments are booked through the platform
- You receive inspection details and complete the job
Compensation
- Inspectors retain 80% of the inspection fee
- HomeInspections.com retains 20% to cover platform operations and payment processing
- Payments are processed through the platform and remitted to you
To support local advertising in your chosen service areas, inspectors contribute to a shared marketing budget based on the number of households in the ZIP codes they select. This allows inspectors to focus on inspections while the platform drives customer bookings.

Requirements
- Active Florida Home Inspector license
- General liability and E&O insurance (as required by law)
- Reliable transportation

Important Classification Note
