Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires a strong understanding of refrigeration principles, mechanical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC issues effectively. The HVAC Technician will work in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients.
Duties
- Install new HVAC systems and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Maintain existing HVAC systems through regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to assess system performance.
- Perform plumbing tasks associated with HVAC installations or repairs as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system operations and maintenance needs.
- Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment for record-keeping purposes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and safety regulations related to HVAC services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar field service role.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles and air conditioning systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters.
- Ability to perform appliance repair tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a mechanical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required for travel between job sites.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
