Position Summary
Bottom Line Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Managerial Accounting Coordinator to support the financial operations of multiple affiliated companies.
This is not a CPA or public accounting position. Instead, we are looking for an experienced accounting professional with strong QuickBooks Enterprise experience who enjoys financial organization, reporting, reconciliations, and supporting business operations.
The ideal candidate has experience working with multiple business entities and understands managerial accounting, job costing, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. This role works closely with the Controller and Executive Leadership to provide timely, accurate financial information that supports strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Company Accounting
- Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple affiliated companies.
- Process daily accounting transactions.
- Record journal entries and account adjustments.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Maintain organized digital financial records and supporting documentation.
- Ensure accounting records remain accurate and up to date.
QuickBooks Enterprise
- Manage accounting functions within QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Maintain customer and vendor records.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Track job costs, departments, and classes.
- Generate financial reports and management reports.
- Maintain the integrity and organization of company financial data.
Financial Reporting
Prepare and assist with:
- Monthly Profit & Loss Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Reports
- Budget vs. Actual Reports
- Job Cost Reports
- Project Profitability Reports
- Executive Financial Dashboards
- Department Financial Reports
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Prepare payment batches for approval.
- Monitor vendor balances.
- Maintain customer receivable aging.
- Assist with collections and account follow-up.
- Maintain organized vendor and customer files.
Financial Operations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Support loan documentation and lender requests.
- Assist with investor reporting.
- Monitor project profitability.
- Improve accounting workflows and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping, managerial accounting, accounting coordination, or related financial experience.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise (required).
- Experience managing accounting for multiple companies or entities.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

- Construction accounting experience.
- Commercial real estate accounting experience.
- Job costing experience.
- Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting.
- Property management accounting.
- Experience supporting multiple LLCs and corporations.
