HOPVINE BREWING COMPANY IS SEEKING A DEPENDABLE, FRIENDLY, POSITIVE, AND OUTGOING KITCHEN/BOH MANAGER TO OVERSEE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS IN A SCRATCH KITCHEN.
Job duties include:
- Creating new menu items
- Creating weekly specials
- Inventory
- Kitchen staff schedule
- Maintaining daily, weekly, monthly cleaning schedule
- Tracking food and labor costs
- Hiring and training of kitchen staff
- Managing BOH Staff
- Ensure food quality
- Assist Event Coordinator and Clientele with planning event menus
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Sous Chef or Kitchen Management experience in a scratch kitchen
- Craft Beer knowledge preferred
- Craft beer pairing experience is a plus
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be a TEAM PLAYER who works well with FOH staff
- Must be a leader willing to teach and work all stations in the kitchen
- Must be willing to work all shifts, including weekends, with a flexible schedule
- Able to stand 10+ hours per shift
- Able to lift at least 50lbs consistently
- Manager's Food Handler’s Certificate
- Allergen Awareness Trained/Certified is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
