Compensation: $80-$85/hour with 35 hour weekly guarantee
Benchmark Therapies is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to join our therapy team at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
This assignment is a great fit for a Physical Therapist who enjoys working with older adults and wants the variety of travel therapy without feeling disconnected from the team or community they serve.
Located on a beautiful 134-acre campus in Gaithersburg, Asbury Methodist Village is a vibrant continuing care retirement community offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services—all within one community.
The campus is designed to support active, engaged senior living and offers beautifully maintained grounds, welcoming gathering spaces, and a wide variety of programs and amenities. Because residents have access to multiple levels of care, therapists have the opportunity to work with a diverse senior population and support individuals with a broad range of mobility, safety, and functional goals.
What You’ll Do
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to older adults
- Complete evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Help residents improve mobility, balance, strength, safety, and independence
- Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Maryland Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- A dependable, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- Experience working with older adults is preferred, but not required
