Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Duties
- Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and other vehicle components.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including engine repairs, powertrain work, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and repair procedures accurately.
- Repair or replace mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and diesel engine repairs as needed.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working with a variety of vehicles is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and diesel engines.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software.
- Ability to work efficiently on GM vehicles or similar makes with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and build trust with clients.
- Prior experience in alignment services and ADAS calibration is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
