We are looking for a highly organized, entrepreneurial and self motivated Business Operations Manager to take ownership of a business vertical's day to day operations. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who is highly proficient in Excel, understands inventory and purchasing, is comfortable managing people and has a natural ability to solve problems and keep things moving.
The ideal candidate is a self starter who can work independently, make decisions and take ownership of the business vertical. You should be comfortable jumping between financial analysis, inventory, staff management, customer needs and operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Help manage the company’s day to day operations, P/L and overall business performance
- Monitor revenue, expenses, margins and inventory to identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage, hire, train and, when necessary, terminate staff
- Oversee warehouse and office operations and ensure staff and projects stay on track
- Manage inventory levels, purchasing and vendor relationships
- Use Excel and data to analyze inventory, sales and purchasing needs
- Identify operational problems and develop practical, efficient solutions
- Create and improve systems and processes to make the business more efficient
- Coordinate across customers, vendors, sales, warehouse and management
- Support customer service, sales and pricing needs as necessary
Skills & Experience
- Experience managing business operations, a department or small business
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience with inventory management and purchasing
- Experience managing and holding staff accountable
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and follow through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
