Role Description
We are looking for a Sales Associate to support our in-store operations and provide excellent customer service. This role is fully in-person and focused on helping customers, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, working in a fast-paced retail setting, and learning about wellness products.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in-store
- Explain basic product benefits and make recommendations (training provided)
- Operate the cash register and handle POS transactions
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer questions
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and product displays
- Restock shelves and support inventory organization
- Assist with packaging online orders
- Provide friendly, patient, and professional customer service
Qualifications
- Bilingual Chinese/English required (Cantonese or Spanish is bonus)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable handling cash various POS systems
- Able to count cash accurately and perform quick math on the spot
- Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to learn product knowledge related to herbal medicine
- Retail, restaurant, or customer-facing experience preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- In-store position
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Friday and Saturday availability required
- Store hours: 9am to 7pm
- Full day availability required
Compensation
- $18/hr starting salary + daily revenue goal bonuses
- Opportunities for performance-based raises
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
