Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Install new HVAC/R equipment following schematics, HVAC design plans, and building codes to ensure proper operation and compliance.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to maximize efficiency and lifespan, including filter changes, system inspections, and preventative measures.
- Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics using tools such as multimeters to identify faults within electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to repair or replace faulty components effectively.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and communicate clearly with customers about work performed and recommended solutions.
- Support building automation systems (BAS) for efficient control of HVAC operations in commercial settings.
- Ensure all work complies with EPA regulations regarding refrigerants (EPA certification required) and safety standards.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC/R Service Technician or similar field service role with construction or property maintenance background.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, electrical systems, and plumbing components.
- Ability to read schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals accurately.
- Valid driver’s license
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC or plumbing are a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments requiring physical activity such as lifting heavy equipment or working at heights.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
