Role Description:
This full-time CNC Lathe Operator role is an on-site position. The CNC Lathe Operator will set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to produce precision components that meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
Responsibilities :
- Interpreting blueprints and work orders
- Selecting appropriate tooling, performing basic machine adjustments
- Maintaining a clean, safe work area.
The role also involves inspecting parts for quality, documenting production data, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to address machining issues and improve processes. The operator must follow all safety and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation, including setup, safe operation, and basic troubleshooting of CNC and related equipment.
- Strong Quality Control skills, including part inspection, use of measurement tools, and adherence to specifications and standards.
- Experience in Machining and Milling, with the ability to work with various materials and maintain precision and efficiency.
- Ability to work with industrial Machinery, including routine maintenance checks and reporting equipment issues.
- Relevant technical training or certification in CNC machining or industrial technology preferred; prior experience in a manufacturing or vocational education setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, follow written and verbal instructions, and maintain accurate production records.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, teamwork, and supporting a learning-focused environment.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
