Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to various locations following designated routes.
- Manage multiple deliveries daily with precision, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offs.
- Engage with customers courteously, answer questions, and promote additional products through upselling when appropriate.
- Verify delivery details, handle cash or payment transactions accurately, and process pricing adjustments as needed.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform heavy lifting of packages, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
- Organize delivery routes efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during shifts.
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent driving certification with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong math skills for handling pricing adjustments and transaction calculations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a regular basis.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage routes and schedules effectively.
- Military experience involving logistics or driving is considered a valuable asset that enhances your suitability for this role.
