Description:
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting parts used for Mikron customer projects, including Customer Service parts and customer components.

Perform inspection of fabricated parts to meet project timeline expectations

Participate in material disposition discussions
-
Provide inspection result data to assist with root cause analysis
-
Perform incoming inspection on customer components, in-process inspections on manufacturing parts, and final inspection on assemblies for Clean Assembly
-
Draft standard operating procedures for inspecting fabricated parts and the use of inspection equipment
-
Ensure applicable inspection equipment is within calibration
-
Perform ad hoc duties as needed

Requirements:
Employment Qualifications:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have a valid state Driver license
Professional & Technical Education:
-
Associates degree in a technical discipline
Other Job-Related Experience or Requirements:

Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and sketches

Working knowledge of inspection equipment and tools

Familiar with Microsoft Office tools

Familiar with ERP software
-
Ability to adapt to priority changes

Ability to communicate in an open, clear, precise, and effective manner with customers, peers, and management

Must have initiative to learn and demonstrate positive behavior toward teamwork

Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as in a typical office setting.
