Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and setting up wedding decorations, ensuring alignment with client specifications and themes
- Coordinate with vendors, venue staff, and clients to facilitate seamless decoration installations and dismantling
- Manage event budgets related to decoration supplies, rentals, and setup costs, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
- Support the planning and execution of event marketing efforts to promote our decoration services and attract new clients
- Upsell additional decoration packages or enhancements to clients during consultations, maximizing revenue opportunities
- Oversee the management of decoration inventory, including procurement, storage, and maintenance of decor items
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the planning process
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event management, wedding planning, or hospitality environments such as hotels or restaurants with banquet services
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts and service agreements
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
- Technical proficiency in decorating tools, equipment, and event setup technology
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of catering, banquet arrangements, and guest services is highly desirable
- Experience in managing event budgets and contracts to ensure successful execution within financial parameters
- Background in marketing or fundraising is a plus for promoting decoration services effectively
