Our goal at Jeff's bagel run is to bake fresh, bring joy, and build community. We are hiring for our Rolesville location. We are looking for a dedicated person who is looking to learn the bagel business, and hopefully grow with us as we expand our footprint. We operate as a team, and we close at 2pm everyday!
No experience required although restaurant or bakery experience would be a bonus. We will fully train to execute our process. A great candidate will be disciplined, fast, and take pride in consistency, delivering a quality product day in and day out.
Must be willing to work in a sometimes fast paced bakery focused on baking bagels and serving smiles. Must be a good teammate. With a strong understanding of what it takes to provide great customer service to customers.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and move quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Other potential workload: Whipped Cream Cheese production, Cream cheese scooping, vegetable chopping, inventory count, food prep (bagels), dishes, general cleaning, and front of house service.
Responsibilities and Requirements (don't worry, we can train you!):
- General customer service. Customer service is the most important part of the job
- Running front of house as a team, or individually
- Must be comfortable running a cash register and assisting in food prep (bagels and cream cheese)
- Front lobby maintenance
- Inventory counts
- Providing assistance to the bakers when needed
- Clean and disinfect work area; set-up and break-down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Responsible for opening store on time
- Able to close the entire bakery
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and sanitized.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Shifts may start anywhere from 5-7am
- Weekend availability required

Job Summary: As a Bakery Customer Service Team Member at Jeff's Bagel Run, you will be the face of our bakery, interacting with customers and ensuring they have a positive experience. You’ll be responsible for providing exceptional service, handling transactions, and assisting with various tasks to keep the bakery running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and offer recommendations.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, and manage the cash register.
- Prepare and package bagels, spreads and coffee for customers, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the front counter and dining area.
- Restock shelves and display cases as needed, ensuring product availability and freshness.
- Assist with bakery operations, setup, and cleanup, as required.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve bakery goals and provide a positive working environment.
