Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
- Set up breakfast buffet stations, replenish items as needed, and maintain attractive presentation
- Clean and sanitize dining areas, countertops, kitchen equipment, and utensils regularly to uphold cleanliness standards
- Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes and assisting guests with seating or inquiries
- Take guest orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions smoothly
- Assist with food handling tasks including portioning, plating, and basic cooking or meal preparation when required
- Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, server, or catering staff is highly valued
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, beverage preparation (including coffee or barista skills), and dishwashing procedures
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
- Experience working with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette to engage with guests effectively
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order processing accurately
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, banquet service, or catering environments enhances your suitability for this role
