We are seeking a dynamic, positive, highly skilled Tax Accountant with a CPA license and proven experience preparing and reviewing personal and business tax returns. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a client-focused environment and is committed to delivering accurate, strategic tax solutions.
This position is client facing and in person 4-5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual (Form 1040) and business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065)
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize savings
- Maintain organized workpapers and documentation to support filings
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client service
- Stay current on tax law changes and communicate relevant updates to clients and colleagues
Qualifications
- Active CPA license (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and compliance for both individuals and businesses
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax codes and regulations
- Proficiency with tax software
- Strong Communication skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
