Great companies need great leaders. We are seeking a Care Team Manager (CTM) to oversee, manage, and develop our caregiving team. This is a leadership role that blends fieldwork and office responsibilities.
The CTM will be responsible for caregiver training, introductions to clients, performance improvement, and recognition programs. This position also requires occassional hands-on caregiving, supporting scheduling, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have an active CNA, HHA or Nursing license, proven leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and staff.
Interview & Hire caregivers.
Train, coach, and mentor caregivers; implement training programs in collaboration with supervisors.
Personally introduce caregivers to clients and families to ensure smooth transitions.
Conduct quality assurance visits to ensure care plans are followed and standards are met.
Develop recognition programs such as Caregiver of the Month and performance acknowledgments.
Review caregiver logs and timesheets to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies.
Manage caregiver call-outs, late arrivals, or refusals of assignments; enforce company policies.
Assist with scheduling to ensure proper shift coverage.
Collaborate with the owner and internal staff on coaching and training.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Active CNA, HHA, or Nursing license (required).
Minimum 2 years of professional healthcare and/or caregiving experience.
At least 1 year of supervisory, training, or employee management experience, ideally in healthcare.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable managing people.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage conflict and use critical thinking to solve problems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and willingness to learn new software.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to visit clients’ homes.
Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends if needed.
$40,000 annual salary + performance bonuses.
