We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist in patient examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary equipment and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Perform basic life support as needed and respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Assist with X-Ray procedures under the supervision of qualified personnel.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide support in various medical specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, hospital medicine, medical-surgical, and internal medicine.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and treatment options.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical area to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic life support techniques.
- Knowledge of emergency medicine practices and protocols.
- Familiarity with geriatric care principles and practices.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform X-Ray imaging procedures is an asset.
- Strong understanding of hospital medicine practices and medical-surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
