About The Role
We're hiring a Viral Video Editor & Short-Form Content Producer who understands how to engineer attention, maximize retention, and turn raw footage into content that performs.
This is a fully remote position where you'll work directly with our content and marketing team to transform footage into high-performing short-form content. You'll help execute a viral-first content strategy focused on growing audience, engagement, and reach across all major social platforms.
Content Formats You'll Edit
- MrBeast-style personal branding videos
- Green screen explainers and reactions
- Voiceover-driven content
- B-roll storytelling edits
- UGC-style content
- Fast-paced talking head videos
- Trend-based short-form formats
What You'll Do
- Edit high-retention short-form videos (20–60 seconds)
- Create engaging openings that maximize watch time
- Use captions, sound effects, motion graphics, zooms, and visual effects to improve retention
- Build edits that maintain viewer attention from first frame to last
- Follow creative briefs while bringing your own editing instincts and ideas
- Collaborate closely with content creators and operators
- Optimize pacing, cuts, transitions, and storytelling
- Continuously improve editing styles based on content performance
Required Skills
- Proven experience editing short-form content
- Strong proficiency in CapCut
- Deep understanding of pacing and viewer retention
- Strong command of captions, motion graphics, sound design, and visual storytelling
- Ability to recreate successful viral formats
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
