Registered Nurse Field Case Manager
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Work Arrangement: Remote with up to 60% local travel
We are seeking an independent and compassionate Registered Nurse to manage workers’ compensation cases and support injured employees throughout their recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person and telephonic medical case management
- Coordinate care with patients, providers, employers, and other involved parties
- Review treatment plans for medical necessity, effectiveness, and cost efficiency
- Attend medical appointments, discharge planning meetings, and home visits
- Monitor patient progress and recommend alternative treatment options when appropriate
- Arrange medical equipment, nursing services, and other recovery resources
- Maintain accurate case documentation and manage a local caseload
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (IL)
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Workers’ compensation, utilization review, managed care, or cost-containment experience is preferred
Pay: $82,500.00 - $93,500.00 per year
