Job Overview
Kulfi is looking for a Production Team Member to join our small production team. We make our ice cream and kulfi by hand in small batches using real ingredients, so we're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values consistency, and takes pride in doing things the right way. Because we're a small team, every person has a meaningful impact on the products we make and the success of our business.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for ice cream and kulfi production, including chopping, mixing, measuring, and freezing
- Make ice cream and kulfi by following recipes with precision and consistency
- Operate production equipment safely
- Package ice cream and kulfi
- Organize inventory in freezers
- Track production and inventory accurately
- Clean and sanitize production equipment
- Wash dishes, utensils, and production equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe production kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces
- Work closely with a small team to meet weekly production goals
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen is required
- Current Oregon Food Handler's Card
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout an entire shift
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move heavy boxes, ingredients, and tubs of ice cream
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Comfortable measuring ingredients accurately and performing basic measurement conversions
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency
- Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a small team
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
