Job Summary
A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Business Development Manager in Los Angeles, CA within the banking and consumer lending industry. This management-level role is ideal for a commercial banking professional with deep experience in corporate lending, C&I transactions, syndications, portfolio management, and deposit growth.
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in acquiring new commercial clients, expanding existing relationships, supporting underwriting activities, and growing a profitable loan and deposit portfolio. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional branch banking environment with collaborative leadership, strong internal support, and a focus on long-term client relationships, regulatory excellence, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new commercial banking relationships through networking, referrals, community outreach, and proactive business development.
- Maintain and grow a profitable loan portfolio by identifying lending, credit, and deposit opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Coordinate and support underwriting for Commercial, C&I, and Syndication transactions in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with loan officers and internal teams to manage portfolio activity, analyze company fundamentals, and evaluate industry and market conditions.
- Drive deposit growth by promoting checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and other commercial banking solutions to SMEs, commercial clients, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Support regulatory examinations, internal and external audits, validations, reporting requirements, and compliance with BSA/AML, CIP, OFAC, and applicable banking regulations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 to $170,000 per year.
