Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group (CCD) is seeking W-2 employees to support airport ground transportation operations at O’Hare International Airport (ORD). These roles provide essential customer service and operational support within a fast-paced airport environment. This is a temporary position with no benefits offered.
In this role, team members will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to passengers, visitors, and airport partners while supporting daily transportation and operational needs. Responsibilities may include assisting travelers with directions and general airport navigation, providing a welcoming and professional presence, supporting logistics and coordination efforts, and maintaining clear communication with supervisors and airport personnel. Driver responsibilities may include safely operating company vehicles on airport property, transporting employees, materials, or operational resources, performing vehicle inspections, and following all airport driving, safety, and compliance standards. All team members are expected to adhere to established safety procedures, maintain professionalism, and contribute to a positive customer experience.
This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $18.00 per hour, in compliance with Illinois and City of Chicago pay transparency requirements.
Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States. Previous experience in customer service, transportation, airport operations, or a fast-paced environment is preferred. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, maintain a professional appearance, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Driver candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with airport requirements.
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the airport for extended periods, as well as lift up to 25–50 pounds as needed. Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
All selected candidates must successfully complete pre-employment requirements, which include a criminal background check, drug screening, fingerprinting, and airport security clearance. The O’Hare badging process typically takes approximately two to three weeks. Training will be provided prior to the start of work.
