Location: Client sites across the Rochester, NY area
Schedule: On-call, seasonal — called out for snow events; day, evening, and overnight shifts available. Must have reliable transportation.
Compensation: $20.00–$30.00+/hr

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Clear snow and ice from sidewalks and curblines so client sites stay safe and open through every event.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remove snow from sidewalks and curblines using shovels, snow blowers, snow raiders, and similar equipment
- Apply deicing products and salt to walkways as needed
- Work in a team environment, wearing all required PPE
QUALIFICATIONS
- Reliable and available for call-outs during snow events, including nights and weekends as storms dictate
- Able to work outdoors in winter conditions and on your feet for extended periods
- Able tosubmit to a background check and site badging where client sites require it
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is physically demanding outdoor work. With or without reasonable accommodation, a Sidewalk Technician must be able to:
- Stand and walk for the full length of a shift, including on snow- and ice-covered and uneven surfaces
- Repeatedly bend, twist, lift, and throw snow with a shovel for extended periods
- Push and maneuver a walk-behind snow blower across uneven ground and inclines
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs, such as bags of deicer or salt
- Climb and descend steps, curbs, and inclines while carrying equipment or product
- Work outdoors for extended periods in cold, wind, and active precipitation, including overnight shifts
- Wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift
