Job Summary
Personal Finance Counselor/Representative Payee is responsible for validating and documenting financial transactions, assuring personal finances remain in good standing by reconciling check books, paying acquired bills/debts timely, maintaining monthly budgets, and managing mail received for person’s designated to receive this service. In addition, the PFC/RP is responsible for analyzing costs, providing cost reduction guidance when necessary, advocating, researching and submitting for any necessary financial assistance, and maintaining those relationships and/or contracts and adhering to any requirements listed on the Social Security Administrations website for a Representative Payee working for a Representative Payee approved Organization
