Job Title: Level 3 Security Officers (Overnight Shifts) – High-Risk Environments
Location: Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN
Position Type: Full-Time, Overnight Shifts
Fairline Security is seeking dedicated and professional Level 2 and Level 3 Security Officers to work in high-risk environments, providing overnight security services in the Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul areas. Our ideal candidates are experienced in handling high-threat situations and committed to maintaining the safety and security of our clients’ properties.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Overnight shifts, full-time
- Shift Hours: Primarily overnight, including weekends and holidays
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rates based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible and authoritative security presence at assigned locations
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance systems and assess potential threats
- Enforce site-specific safety and security protocols
- Provide accurate and timely incident reports
- Work collaboratively with law enforcement when required
- Interact respectfully and professionally with diverse communities, including individuals from different cultural backgrounds and people experiencing mental health challenges
- De-escalate potentially volatile situations involving individuals in crisis, using tact and appropriate response strategies
Requirements:
- Must be located in Minnesota (MN)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of security experience, with preference given to candidates with high-threat or high-risk experience
- Level 2 and Level 3 security certification required
- Strong situational awareness and the ability to respond quickly in dynamic situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to stay alert and focused during overnight shifts
- Physical fitness is essential, as the position may require extended periods of standing, walking, or responding to physical threats
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in law enforcement or military service
- Knowledge of downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul areas
- Experience with incident reporting systems and surveillance monitoring
- Training or experience working with individuals experiencing mental health crises and an understanding of appropriate de-escalation techniques
- Familiarity with working in diverse, urban environments and sensitivity to the needs of a multicultural community

Schedule:
8 and 12 hour shifts available.
We staff 24/7, with shifts available days/evenings/nights/weekends.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Age:
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed accounts, and at least 21 for armed accounts.
Work Location: Multiple Locations; must be willing to work at multiple accounts across the Twin Cities/Metro Area.
