SUMMARY – Lititz Christian School is seeking a dynamic, mission-minded educator and technology leader to serve in a dual role as part-time IT Director for a multi-campus school and Part-Time Technology Educator (Grades K–10). This position blends hands-on technology infrastructure leadership with Christ-centered instruction in technology education and digital literacy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Director
The Director of IT provides leadership, strategy, and hands-on oversight of all school technology systems and in support of Advancement, Marketing, Enrollment, Retention, and Development goals.
- Collaborate regularly with the K-12 principal and Head of School to develop and implement strategic technology-related goals
- Oversee all technology operations and evaluate systems based on organizational objectives
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategy, including computer systems, networks, security, and communication systems
- Purchase, manage, and maintain cost-effective hardware and software solutions
- Inspect and ensure proper functionality of all technological equipment and systems
- Identify needs for upgrades, new systems, or configuration changes and communicate recommendations to senior leadership
- Monitor system performance to ensure efficient and reliable IT service delivery
- Develop and maintain processes and standards for technology selection, implementation, and support
- Provide technical support for school events, including fundraising, admissions, and marketing initiatives
- Assist with website management

Technology Education Teacher – Grades K–10
The technology Education Teacher will create an engaging, Christ-centered learning environment that develops students’ technical skills, creativity, and digital citizenship.
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned technology instruction for grades K–10, with potential for high school electives
- Teach foundational and intermediate skills including digital literacy, coding, computational thinking, and responsible use of technology
- Integrate biblical principles into instruction, encouraging ethical and Christ-centered use of technology, including AI
- Create a student-centered, inquiry-based classroom that promotes curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving
- Facilitate project-based learning experiences where students design, build, and solve real-world challenges
- Encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation through hands-on activities
- Maintain a classroom culture that promotes respectful digital citizenship and responsible technology use
- Assess student learning through projects, presentations, and performance-based assessments
- Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant tools into instruction
- Collaborate with faculty to support cross-curricular integration of technology
- Oversee the high school Robotics Club and related extracurricular technology activities
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Professional & Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, technology education, Information Systems, Education (with CS focus), or related field required
- Experience in IT operations, systems administration, or educational technology preferred
- Teaching qualifications and/or experience preferred
- Willingness to pursue certification through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, cybersecurity, databases, and digital infrastructure
- Experience analyzing, implementing, and evaluating IT systems and specifications
- Knowledge of project management principles and technology implementation strategies

- Proven leadership experience in IT systems, teams, or educational environments
- Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Ability to design engaging, student-led, project-based learning experiences
- Strong classroom management and instructional delivery skills
- Passion for integrating faith and learning through a biblical worldview
- Flexibility to develop and expand course offerings, including high school electives
