Title: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part-Time
Location: 1222 S Patterson Blvd, Suite 230, Dayton, OH 45402
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible scheduling may be available)
Pay: $50/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $2,500
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including reviewing medical histories, taking dental X-rays, and evaluating oral health conditions.
- Perform preventive dental care services, including:
- Prophylaxis cleanings
- Scaling and root planing (SRP)
- Polishing
- Periodontal disease treatment
- Sealant placement
- Localized antibiotic administration
- Assistance with anesthetic procedures as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, brushing, flossing techniques, and nutritional recommendations.
- Provide individualized patient education to promote long-term oral health.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
- Collaborate with dentists and healthcare team members to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Follow infection control standards, safety protocols, and clinical guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, oral anatomy, and periodontal care.
- Strong understanding of patient assessment and clinical care techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality healthcare.
