As an Assistant Teacher you will:
- Be an essential part of a 3 person classroom teaching team.
- Assist in the development and delivery of lessons that are in accordance with the program’s curriculum
- Create positive, child-directed learning environments
- Observe and record an assessment of children’s growth, development, and behavior
- Work in a family atmosphere, as part of a team that goes above and beyond for each other and the children we serve
Qualifications:
- A Valid driver’s license.
- An understanding of young children and low-income families, and an appreciation of parents as the primary educators of their children.
Toddler Position:
- A minimum of a BOCES ECE certification and obtain Infant/Toddler CDA within 2 years + EHS specific trainings OR Enrolled in Infant/Toddler CDA + EHS specific trainings. CDA must be obtained within 2 years OR Infant/Toddler CDA
- At least one year of experience working with young children, preferably in an infant/toddler setting.

Salary: $19.50/hr - $21.50/hr based on qualifications. Hours per week: 35 Weeks per Year: 52
