SUMMARY:
Real Salt Lake Academy is seeking a part-time Communication Specialist with media and the players. The specialist will need to be skilled in developing engaging content across digital and traditional platforms to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. Proven ability to craft compelling narratives, and align messaging with organizational goals
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop and manage social media presence to promote RSL Academy values
- Responsible for internal and external communications
- Create engaging content and maintain the social media accounts as well as the RSL website
- Build strong relationships with players, parents and sponsors
- Manage and grow the RSL Academy social media presence across all social media platforms
- Regularly maintain and update the RSL Academy website with schedules and events
- Promote, develop and distribute communications for matches, tryouts, and community events through newsletters and marketing materials
- Ensure all communications align with the RSL Academy’s mission and values
- Facilitate clear communication among players, staff, coaches, and families
- Capture content during training sessions, matches and events to promote the RSL Academy teams
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of and competence in communications
- Ability to collaborate with players , parents and staff
- Ability to use initiative and demonstrate dependability.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 5 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 10 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, typing, etc.
